Zhejiang Crystal Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. (COT) was founded on August 2, 2002 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on September 19, 2008 (stock code 002273). In 2022, total revenue reached 43.76 billion yuan, with year-on-year growth of 14.86%, and the net profit climbed up to 5.95 billion yuan.

Over the past twenty years, COT has been a global optical expert in the field of information transaction, providing one-stop professional services from core components up to modules and solutions. At present, the company is involved in R&D and manufacturing process in five major industrial sectors, and its products include Optic Components, Thin-film Optics, Semiconductor Optics, Automotive Electronics & AR+, Reflective Materials, etc. The company has more than ten wholly-owned and controlling subsidiaries, and participates in multiple enterprises such as Japan Guangchi Co., Ltd., Ningbo Jishi Investment, Wuhan Wuyi Yuntong, Jingbang Optics, and Zhaoge Digital.

Our products span from Consumer Electronics, to Automotive Electronics and Metaverse. For Consumer Electronics, products such as Infra-Red Cut Filter (IRCF), Camera Cover Glass (CG), Narrow Band Pass Filter (NBPF) help COT to rank among the world's top producers and sellers. Our core competitiveness lies in its leading global technology integration ability to combine "Thin Film Design, Micro Nano Optic Techonology, Optic Cold Forming, and large-scale Automation" together. For Automotive Electronics, Head Up Display (HUD), Car Cams, and LiDAR window glasses have all been applied to the products and services of globally renowned vehicle manufacturers. For Metaverse, AI and display technology have developed rapidly in past few years, and COT has laid out a full technology path in the AR field to help incubate technology giants in mass production. Development history

Start to research the technology of optical coating and optical cold working since 2000. Establish the Crystal-Optech company on August 2, 2002. Complete joint-stock system restructuring on December 21, 2006, and establish the crytal-optech Inc. We have gone through a arduous road of entrepreneurship in several years. From the South China market to the Japanese market, from OLPF products used in security monitoring to IR-cut filters used in mobile phone cameras, Crystal-Optech has survived.
It has done a good prepare for the company walking into the capital market that reforming into a shareholding system and holding a shareholders meeting. It had realized our dreams that Crystal-Optech was officially listed in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on September 19, 2008. Following the trend of rapid development of the world's optoelectronic industry, under the guidance of the "concentric diversification" strategic, Crystal-Optech has grown like a seedling since then.
In 2015, the external capital market situation was very good, but with a sense of concern, we realized that potential problems with the existing business methods and organizational forms would limit the future development of Crystal. Crystal-Optech has entered a critical period of rapid development and accelerated the pace of international development. Crystal-Optech's product technology has expanded to 3D imaging, biometrics, AR virtual reality, and reflective materials by the end of 2018.
In 2019, Crystal-Optech's leadership team decided to start the second mechanism reform in order to seize new opportunities for the development of the world's optoelectronic industry in the future,and established the "5+3" strategy and new development plan. Crystal-Optech will continue to stick to the iron triangle model of "basic management, strategic new business, and ecological construction", and grasp the three focus of "globalization, technology, and open cooperation" firmly to build a second based on the future development of 5G technology curve.

Academia Sinica
Central R&D Center, the major R&D organization of the Crystal-Optech Co.LTD, was formally established in 2017. The center integrated R&D resource from the original thin film research institute, the original automation research institute and Hangzhou office, and now is in a stage of rapid development. The R&D center adheres to the development strategy of "based on technical cooperation, strengthening independent innovation, and establishing technological advantages". As a platform for Crystal-Optech Co.LTD’s technology innovation and knowledge sharing, it has undertaken R&D activities on new products, new technologies and new processes. It focuses on the development of products in the fields of optical components, biometrics, optical film panels, AR glasses, and automotive electronics. At present, the centerhas set up R&D site in Hangzhou, Taizhou and Shenzhen respectively, and is in the process of overseas deployment. It has R&D functions such as component development, optical design, software design, mechanical design, and hardware design. Especially the Thin Film Institute has become one of the global thin film technology leaders in the optoelectronics field after continuous development and accumulation. In the future, the Central R&D Center will continue to uphold the core values of "learning, growing, gratitude, and sharing", and consolidate the core competitiveness of innovative technologies, and strive to become a world-class high-tech optoelectronic R&D center.
